Students cannot park on campus without a parking permit. Permits are distributed at the high school to approved applicants beginning the week of August 24th. Tags are first come, first served with seniors having first priority; additional parking may be offered to eligible juniors based on availability. For 2026-27, all approved students are assigned a specific parking spot and must have a permit matching that spot. No additional permits once spaces are assigned.

If you selected the BASIC option and want to choose your yearbook photo, after seeing all your photos, fill out the Google Form. Photo must have black drape/tux and black background; no rose images.

1) Complete the Parking Online Application (Forms tab, Genesis Parent Portal), signed electronically by BOTH student and parent/guardian, uploading images of the student's driver's license, current vehicle registration, and proof of insurance. 2) Pay the $50.00 parking fee on PaySchools (fee called 'Parking Fee East 26-27'); payment is required to receive a permit. 3) Applications are reviewed; approved applicants get an email to the student school email and the parent Genesis email with pickup instructions.

Senior portrait sessions for Class of 2027 by CADY. Book a session at booking.cady.com. The BASIC option is the free senior portrait session at the high school in the Library Annex (purchase of photos optional afterward). The 'Simple' option is recommended: $29 with a $30 credit toward any photo package purchased, so it is essentially free if photos are purchased. It includes cap/gown photo, yearbook tux/drape photo, and one casual photo. If Basic was selected and you want to choose your yearbook photo, fill out the Google Form after viewing photos. Yearbook photo must have black drape/tux and black background; no rose images. No parents/guardians allowed in the Portrait Room - students only; parents wait outside.

Students are prohibited from parking in the yellow lined spots or the Main Entrance Parking Lot, reserved exclusively for faculty and staff. Students observed parking in faculty spots may be summonsed and towed at the owner's expense.

Total payment $2,275.00. Four optional deposits: #1 $300 (spring 9th grade, PaySchools Mar 20-Apr 12, 2024, or cash/check Mar 25-Apr 5, 2024); #2 $300 (Oct 21-Nov 6, 2024, PaySchools ACH or cash/check Oct 22-Nov 6, 2024); #3 $300 online only via PaySchools from Apr 7, 2025 through end of school year; #4 $350 online only Sept 22-Dec 30, 2025. Final balance depends on number of optional payments made (e.g., 4 optional = $1,250 total, final $275; 3 optional at $300 = $900 total, final $575; 1 optional $350 = final $425). Optional deposits are fully refundable until September 2026.

Basic Insurance: can be purchased until final payment to East is made; final payment due November 20. Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) Insurance: can ONLY be purchased October 2-15, 2026; covered until 48 hours before trip. Insurance information emailed September 29. Insurance is highly encouraged. Students who will be 18 by March 17, 2027 need Real ID or valid US passport to fly.

Students can drop out of the trip until end of September 2026 and receive a FULL refund from CH East. Cannot pay everything at once in November; roommate selection begins early October and waitlist applies.

The parking fee for 2026-2027 is $50 per eligible student, valid for the upcoming school year only. The fee is non-refundable for any reason. Payment is made via PaySchools (Genesis - PaySchools) under 'Parking Fee East 26-27'.

Driving and parking on school grounds is a privilege for students with consistent and acceptable attendance and discipline records. Limited number of student parking spaces are available.

All clubs must hold either an official meeting or activity a minimum of once a month (October-May) to remain active. Clubs not meeting at least once per month will be on probation and cannot be active the next school year.

Clubs must have their advisor present at any after-school fundraiser table before emailing Ms. Barr (dbarr@chclc.org, copy advisor) with student name, club name, description, and dates/times. Request at least 2-3 weeks ahead; Ms. Barr responds within 3-4 days. No fundraiser may be advertised until approved. Charitable drives: one per school year, max 3 weeks, decorated donation box, advertise at least 1 full week before the drive.

Meeting must first be approved by the club advisor, then email Ms. Debbie Barr (dbarr@chclc.org) at least 72 hours before the meeting with date, start and end time, and location. Copy the club advisor on emails.

All posters and flyers must be approved and stamped by Mrs. Sassinsky or Ms. Barr before posting; up to 20 copies of the stamped flyer may be made. Unstamped posters will be removed. Post on Activities bulletin boards or water fountain area walls. Do not post in hallways above lockers, on glass, or in bathrooms. Use scotch or masking tape only (no duct tape). All flyers must be removed within 48 hours of the meeting.

Six total late buses depart at 4:15pm, Monday through Thursday only (no Friday late buses). Late buses line up outside the Library Annex side entrance.

Official club social media posts must be pre-approved by the advisor. Clubs must also have at least one non-social-media way of communicating with members (e.g., Google Classroom, Remind, club website, email, flyers).

For the 2026-27 school year, all approved students will be assigned a specific parking spot. Permits correspond to the assigned spot. When all student spaces are assigned, no additional permits will be issued.
