Planned Absences and Early Departures
Planned absences for family vacations are strongly discouraged. Parents must write a note or email to the classroom teacher, school secretary, and nurse in advance of planned absences. Teacher is not required to provide student work prior to absence, but student is responsible for completing all missed assignments upon return. Same notification required for planned early departures. Parents must meet child in school office and sign student out. No student permitted to wait outside for safety reasons.

The library will send occasional reminders after a few weeks if needed. Stoy library books have a circular 'Stoy Library' sticker on the cover and a 'Property of Stoy Library' stamp inside the front cover.
