NCAA Registration for Juniors & Seniors
Student-athletes in the 11th grade who are hoping to play at the NCAA Division I or II levels in college must register with the NCAA Eligibility Center. All student-athletes must register with the NCAA Eligibility Center prior to making any official school visits or receiving a written offer of athletically related financial aid with 'D-I' or 'D-II' colleges. Senior athletes who have not already done so should register immediately.

National Athletic Training Month (NATM) - March 2026
National Athletic Training Month (NATM) is observed each March to recognize and raise awareness of athletic trainers—licensed health care professionals who specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of injuries and medical conditions. The 2026 theme is 'Care You Can Count On,' highlighting the trusted, consistent, and skilled support athletic trainers provide to patients every day. Athletic trainers work in secondary schools, colleges, clinics, hospitals, industrial settings, and professional sports.

ASVAB Test
Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery - The ASVAB is the most widely used multiple-aptitude test battery in the world. It consists of eight tests, contains a total of 200 items, and requires three hours to complete (134 minutes of actual test time and 36 minutes of administration time). Each test is strictly timed. Steps to take in advance include: prepare well in advance, know what to expect on test day, familiarize yourself with the contents of the ASVAB Subtests, take sample questions and review content areas, and get plenty of rest the night before the test. ELA Students Explore Civil Rights and Social Justice Using the Socratic Method
Mr. Rienstra's ELA classes visited the Media Center to work on discussions of Martin Luther King Jr., civil rights, and social justice using the Socratic method. The Socratic method comes from the philosopher Socrates and involves using probing questions on a topic to clarify and further an argument to foster critical thinking and use of logic.

National Junior Honor Society (NJHS)
The National Junior Honor Society recognizes middle school students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship. NJHS members are actively involved in community service including supporting elementary programs (Art Club, Homework Club, tutoring), school events (Haunted Haviland, Holiday Shops, Trunk or Treat, Festival of Lights), and individual service projects with organizations such as Hopeful Helping, Dancing Dreams, BookSmiles, and the Kroc Center. Members contribute through creating positivity posters, organizing food and clothing drives, assisting local food pantries, crocheting stress-relief items, assembling holiday care packages and hygiene kits, making holiday cards, supporting animal shelters, peer-to-peer aid, photography services, free soccer training, and supporting school clubs.

Students in Mrs. Egner's Plant Biology class visited Longwood Gardens and were challenged to capture their most artistic botanical photograph. Upperclassmen and staff voted on submissions. Winners: 1st place - Taliah Bettis, 2nd place - Kaitlyn Ryan, 3rd place - Isabella Lamancusa.

Art Students Participate in Camden County Teen Arts Festival
The art department participated in the Camden County Teen Arts Festival at Camden County College. Four students' artwork was chosen to advance to the NJ State Teen Arts Festival: Ava Lebb, Khloe Hoguet, Chloe Epright, and Brigid Herron.

7th Grade ELA Students Follow Winter Olympics
7th grade WIN ELA classes followed the 2026 Olympic Winter Games. Students drew maps of Italy, created informational pamphlets about various sports, and researched countries represented in the games. Students were particularly interested in skeleton and biathlon. Classes then studied drama genre, reading and acting out three plays while studying character perspective, motivation, and change. Upcoming: students will read and write various types of poetry.

CCREA 2026 HS Scholarship $1,000
CCREA Association is offering a $1,000 High School Scholarship to those students who are interested in pursuing their education post high school and plan to attend college. Applications should be directly mailed within a timely manner adhering to the deadline on the application form. Applications that don't meet the specifications on the application will be eliminated. The random drawing to select the students will take place at the CCREA Spring luncheon in May, and the students will be notified towards the end of May.

New Jersey School Women's Club Scholarships for Future Teachers
The New Jersey School Women's Club offers scholarships for future teachers. Any young woman who is a senior in a New Jersey high school and is a New Jersey resident is invited to apply. She should be planning to complete a professional program (minimum baccalaureate) leading to a degree and certification in the field of education. The Jeannette Hodge, Mary Ann Giovannini, Patricia Barber and Johanna Capasso memorial scholarships, each in the amount of $500 and two educational awards, also in the amount of $500, will be awarded for academic achievement. Involvement in extra-curricular and community service activities will also be considered.

Williamson College of the Trades Information
Williamson College of the Trades is a full-scholarship program for qualifying young men. All students receive full scholarships covering tuition, room and board. Students earn an Associate in Specialized Technology Degree in programs including Carpentry, Electrical, Landscape Construction and Management, Machine Tool Technology, Masonry, and Power Plant Technology. 2025 Advanced Placement Highlights
Audubon High School achieved record-breaking AP results: 89 students (largest number in school history) took AP exams with 74% earning scores of 3 or higher (95 total scores of 3 or better, 48 scores of 4 or 5). Notable achievements include AP English Language and Composition with 100% of students scoring 3 or higher (15 of 18 earning 4 or 5), AP Precalculus with 22 of 23 scoring 3 or higher (16 of 23 earning 4 or 5), AP Biology with record-setting 11 students scoring 3 or higher, and AP Chemistry with tripled number of students scoring 3 or higher compared to previous years.
