As a friendly reminder, please be sure your contact information in Genesis is up to date for best service.

Late buses are courtesy buses. There are no assigned bus stops. Please contact your school’s secretary to learn which late bus your student is assigned to.
- 今天需要换一个站点吗？Permission to change buses, or bus stop, will be granted in cases of EMERGENCY ONLY. Students must ride on their assigned bus as well as get off the bus at their assigned stop. We will do our best to accommodate EMERGENCY situations that might require your child changing buses or pick-up and drop-off points for the current day. Requests to change bus stops must be sent to the principal in writing prior to 11:30am. The principal must approve any change in drop-off by signing the note. Upon approval, your request will be sent to the CHPS Transportation Department and the driver will be notified.

Following that date, only new move-in stops or extreme emergency changes will be considered. Cherry Hill Public Schools Senior Internship Program
Cherry Hill Public Schools offers a senior internship program to seniors at both East & West. This year the district has 17 partners providing internships to 42 seniors from CHHS East and West. Partners include Jefferson Health, Penn Medicine, Environmental Resolutions, Inc., South Jersey Dental Studios, Strong Bond PT, Cardinal Kids OT, and CHPD. Jefferson Health is the largest partner, providing opportunities for 12 students (10 healthcare interns and 2 facilities management interns) with clinical experiences in nursing, operating room, radiology, lab, pharmacy, and rehabilitation (PT/OT). The week of September 21 was the first week for many internships.

The Coles Program - Back to School Night
On September 17th, the Coles Program welcomed families to Back to School Night, giving parents and guardians the opportunity to meet their students' teachers, follow their child's schedule, and learn about the year ahead. Staff shared classroom expectations, course goals, and this year's program-wide focus on Presence—being consistent and showing up for students every day. Families were introduced to new staff and updated classroom procedures, including teacher-set cell phone limits. The evening reflected the collaboration between staff and families that the Coles Program relies on to help every student feel supported, known, and ready to succeed.

Jazz Band Auditions
Jazz Band applications are available until Friday 9/18. Any new members must complete an audition to participate. Auditions will take place on 9/24 & 9/25 during the school day. All information and audition materials are located in the Jazz Band Google Classroom (Code: hsb6w6vr).

Band and Orchestra program for the upcoming school year. Students should register and review class descriptions by Friday 9/11. Students should have received invitations to Google Classrooms. Cherry Hill Public Library Teen Department is seeking book-loving teens to serve as general volunteers and as leaders on their Teen Advisory Board (TAB). TAB is a leadership position for young responsible teens who want to serve in the public library. Applications are due September 13.

Pep Rally & Early Dismissal Procedures
On Friday, October 9th, there will be a Pep Rally following an abbreviated schedule, beginning around 1:50 PM. For early dismissals occurring after 1:15 PM, an Express Sign-Out option is available for those who qualify. All early dismissals must be entered in the Genesis Parent Portal by 12:30 PM on October 9th. The person picking up the student must be listed in Genesis as an approved contact and present a government-issued ID upon arrival. Student drivers may only drive themselves from campus if they have an approved vehicle with a valid East parking pass.

Celebration of Latino Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15. Resources provided include Camden County Library Button Maker Family Event (September 15, 2026), National Archives Hispanic Heritage Month resources, SHU's 250 Years of Latino Impact on American History, NASA's Hispanic Astronauts, Smithsonian Hispanic Heritage Month resources, PBS Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, Biography Channel's Famous Hispanic Athletes, and NPL Celebrating Latinx Authors. Shared resources help recognize how attributes of the Portrait of a Graduate are integrated into learning.
