The back gate used to exit school grounds closes at 3:00 PM. Vehicles cannot exit through that gate after this time.

Parents are encouraged to have their child reassess when they score below an 83 on any secondary assessment in any class.

Health Forms Required for Activities
Current medical documentation is valid for one school year. Required for athletics, clubs, and field trips. Forms are under Health Services on the KRSD home page: medication request, asthma plan, anaphylaxis plan, diabetic plan, seizure plan, and hold harmless agreement for self-administering students.

Riding the bus alleviates campus traffic and ensures students are never marked late.

Cell phone policy also prohibits misuse of Smartwatches.

Students are encouraged to charge Chromebooks every night.

Students must carry IDs at all times and scan into main office, counseling office, bathrooms, lunch lines, media center, and nurse's office.

Renaissance Application Assignment Closes
Students must join this year's Renaissance Course on Schoology and upload their application (screenshot; emails or Google Docs accepted) to the assignment. 7th grade access code: 45JC-C2M2-NGPV4. 8th grade access code: C28H-542D-6CWDK. This is a COURSE, not a group.

New Student Device Expectations for 2026-27
New Jersey law restricts use of personal internet-enabled devices during the school day. Kingsway has developed procedures and an 'Off and Away' campaign. Review the attached superintendent letter; more info will come from your child's school before the year starts.

Genesis Information System
The district sends letters (attendance, discipline, etc.) and documents (gifted and talented, MAP scores, advisement outcomes) through Genesis. Parents receive an email notification to review them in Genesis.

Schoology Parent Account
Kingsway Regional uses Schoology as its LMS. Parents can sign in to a parent account to view courses, check grades, and communicate with teachers. A parent tutorial is available.

Parent Conferences
Contact the School Counseling Office to schedule conferences with your child's entire team, on Tuesdays or Thursdays throughout the school year.
