Call the Delaware Avenue School main office before 9:00 AM with your child's name, teacher's name, the reason for the absence and the expected return date. Tell the office in advance about planned absences; documentation may be requested after two consecutive days.

- Someone else picking up?Only people listed as authorized on the registration form may pick up; changes must be in writing, not by phone.
- Running late?Pickup by 5:45 PM. $5 late fee for pickup after 5:45 but before 6:00; after 6:00 a $15 minimum plus another $15 after 6:15. A child not picked up by 6:30 PM: the program contacts Palmyra Police and DCF.
- Delays & early dismissalsDAS Cub Care (Palmyra Child Care Program) in the DAS gym, front door. No program when DAS closes before the day starts or is cut short (snow or emergency); a delayed opening runs as a regular day. Billing through Brightwheel.
