Students cannot park on campus without a parking permit. Permits are distributed at the high school to approved applicants beginning the week of August 24th. Tags are first come, first served with seniors having first priority; additional parking may be offered to eligible juniors based on availability during the school year. Advisor for the Senior Class of 2027.

Students in SGA, Journalism and Public Speaking read morning announcements over the loudspeaker each morning, covering club, athletic, event, class and school updates.

Clubs must have their advisor present at the table before emailing Ms. Barr for after-school fundraisers; clubs cannot sell after school without an advisor. Email dbarr@chclc.org with copy to advisor including Student's Name, Club Name, description, and dates/times. Request at least 2-3 weeks before the start date. Ms. Barr responds within 3-4 days. No fundraiser may be advertised until approved.

Students are prohibited from parking in yellow-lined spots or the Main Entrance Parking Lot, reserved for faculty and staff. Students parking in faculty spots may be issued a summons and towed at the owner's expense.

All posters and flyers must be approved by Mrs. Sassinsky or Ms. Barr and stamped before posting; unstamped posters will be removed. Up to 20 copies of the stamped flyer may be made. Post on designated Activities bulletin boards or water fountain area walls. Flyers cannot be posted in hallways above lockers, on glass, or in bathrooms. Use scotch or masking tape only (no duct tape). All flyers must be removed within 48 hours of the meeting.

The student parking fee for 2026-2027 is $50 per eligible student, valid for the upcoming school year only. The fee is non-refundable for any reason, and there are a limited number of student parking spaces. Payment must be completed to receive a permit.

For regular recurring meetings, the club must first get advisor approval, then email Ms. Barr (dbarr@chclc.org) ASAP with specific dates, start & end time, and location. Copy the advisor on emails.

Only ONE charitable drive per school year, no more than 3 weeks total, approved dates required, decorated donation box clearly stating needed donations, and advertising/flyers/social media at least 1 full week before the drive.

Six (6) late buses are available, Mondays through Thursdays only (no Friday late buses). Late buses depart at 4:15pm and line up outside the Library Annex side entrance.

Advisor for the Student Government Association (SGA).

Official club social media posts must be pre-approved by the advisor. Clubs must also have at least one non-social-media way of communicating with members (e.g., Google Classroom, Remind, club website, emails, flyers).

For a single meeting date, the club must first get approval from the club advisor, then email Ms. Debbie Barr (dbarr@chclc.org) at least 72 hours before the meeting with Date, Start & end time, and Location. Copy the club advisor on emails.

(2) Pay the $50.00 Parking Fee (called 'Parking Fee East 26-27') via Genesis - PaySchools. (3) Applications are reviewed; approved applicants receive an email at the student's school email and the parent's Genesis Parent Portal email with pickup instructions.

If a new club is approved, students receive a packet of information to keep and have 2 weeks to fill out a Club Contract Form to make the club official.

Senior portraits for the Class of 2027 are taken by CADY. Book a portrait session online. The BASIC option is the free senior portrait session at the high school in the Library Annex (you may still purchase photos afterward, not mandatory). The 'Simple' option is recommended: includes cap/gown photo, yearbook tux/drape photo, and one casual photo for $29 with a $30 credit toward any photo package purchased, making the session essentially free if photos are purchased. Basic-option students wanting to choose their yearbook photo must fill out a Google Form after viewing photos; yearbook photo must have black drape/tux and black background, no rose images. NO parents/guardians allowed in the Portrait Room - students only; parents wait outside.

All clubs must hold either an official meeting or activity a minimum of once a month (October-May) to remain active. Clubs not meeting at least once per month will be placed on PROBATION and cannot be active the next school year.

Students who selected the BASIC option and want to choose their yearbook photo should, after seeing all photos, fill out the Google Form. Photo must have black drape/tux and black background. No rose images for the yearbook.

If all 4 optional payments ($1,250) made, final balance $275 due 11/20/26. 3 optional payments ($950) -> $525 final. 3 x $300 ($900) -> $575 final. 2 optional ($650) -> $125 final. 2 x $300 ($600) -> $175 final. 1 optional $350 -> $425 final. 1 x $300 -> $475 final.

Basic insurance must be purchased BEFORE making the final payment. Students can't buy insurance if they pay everything at once.

The $50.00 parking fee (called 'Parking Fee East 26-27') must be paid via Genesis - PaySchools for the student to receive a permit. The fee is valid for the upcoming school year only, is non-refundable for any reason, and there are a limited number of student parking spaces. Driving and parking is a privilege based on attendance and discipline records.
